This morning I flew to Los Angeles. We started with some delay because the captain had another flight before which arrived at Toronto with some delays.
After I picked up the rental car without any problems I went to the Hotel where I thought to meet with my roommate (for StreamingSoundTracks members known as Dutchbat). I could not reach him, but I knew I was at the right hotel, his name and roomnumber was known at the reception. Via chat on streamingsoundtracks I learned he went to the airport as a surprise to say hello.
My little economy class rented car:
Since I could not reach him at the reception they gave me a new key so I could go to the room. A bit later he was coming back to the hotel and it seemed he left his cellphone in the room.
We visited the nearby hollywood boulevard for some coffee and in the evening we had diner we two SST members (Socr8s and Xantippe) at the Brazilian Grill restaurant where we also went last year.
